2. Get your houses in order (Isaiah 38:1)

Amos 4:12

“Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, O Israel.”

Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

Isaiah 38:1

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

When this word came to me, I sensed a strong urgency to share it immediately.  Many times I wait upon the Lord and weigh words to see if He will unveil any more at that time or later.  However, this word was different.  I do believe there will be more to come, but I also believe that He’s given me permission to release it now.

The reason the Lord is pressing upon my heart these things, is because the time is short. Very short.  And the church as we know it is consumed with many other things, neglecting this great gospel of Christ, the Lord has given us, and keeping our eyes on the things that God has purported in His Word to follow on a daily basis.  The church has concentrated primarily on “what God can do for me”, or “when and how we will be blessed”, and there needs to be a marked shift for concentrating on messages relating to eternity, tribulation, last days, and preparing to meet God.  The Lord expressly spoke to me stating, to tell the teachers to concentrate on these 2 things in this next season and beyond:

1. Prepare to meet thy God (Amos 4:12)
2. Get your houses in order (Isaiah 38:1)

Not that they should not teach other things, but to make this teaching front and center and a priority in the church, so that we will be adequately prepared for the tribulation coming upon the church, the persecution coming upon the church and the ability to stand alone in the face of oppression.  The church needs to plan on knowing how it will feel to be in the minority, how to stand with our armor on, and how to press into God, running toward the Rock that is higher than I.

We need to start praying and being educated on dying grace, like the early church, and not succumbing to the fear of man when faced with the opportunity to compromise. Husbands and wives need to discuss what they will do if one is used against the other, or how they will make decisions for themselves and their family when that evil day comes.  Will they say, “as far as me and my house, we will serve the Lord”? Or will one be taken and the other be left (so-to-speak).  Now to be clear, I am not necessarily speaking of the 7-year tribulation, however this same mindset can and should be adopted during that time, should the Lord tarry in rapturing His church.  Nonetheless, preparing to meet Thy God is seeking the Lord while He may be found. Finding forgiveness through the blood, confessing your sins, and preparing your mind to go to Him when we are appointed to die.  Getting our houses in order, is not necessarily getting your will together, but leaving a spiritual inheritance for your children/family.  It is preparing for your home to be ravaged, your body to be maimed, or God-forbid something worse, when faced with not denying the name of the Lord, not denying the Lord Jesus Christ.  In Hebrews 10:34 it says, 

For you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven.

In conclusion, there is so, so, so much more that can be said in relation to this directive word from God, and in this, the Lord is faithful to reveal, through the Holy Spirit, more for the teachers in the body of Christ to share with their respective followers and congregations.  That being, teachings on judgment, rewards, a martyrs’ reward, the tribulation period, the rapture of the church, the message to the 7 churches in Revelation and so much more.  I encourage you to pray to see what the Lord will reveal to you specifically to share.  I’ve seen a few people begin to post videos even before I could release mine, which lets me know this Word is right on time!
